About Us

Dr. Corey Colhoun, D.C.

Dr. Corey Colhoun is a graduate of Palmer Chiropractic College in Iowa. He made the decision to go into Chiropractic after suffering some injuries while involved in university athletics at the University of Western Ontario where he was majoring in Kinesiology. Following achieving his B.A at Western he attended Palmer College and graduated in 1998.  After practicing in Pennsylvania for 4 years, Corey and his family came back home to Ontario. After looking throughout the province for an opportunity to open his own practice, he was fortunate to meet John Willis, who was looking to retire in the Kincardine area. A partnership was formed for several years while Dr. Willis gradually slowed down his practice and retired and Corey ramped up his practice and finally took over the practice in 2004

Kelly Palmateer, RKin.

Kelly graduated with an Honours Kinesiology degree from The University of Western Ontario and is a Registered Kinesiologist with the College of Kinesiologists and the Ontario Kinesiology Association. She has been administering Bioflex Low Intensity Laser Therapy at the clinic for the past 11 years as well as helping patients with their exercise prescriptions. Kelly is certified in Low Intensity Laser Therapy, Functional Movement Systems (FMS), Functional Movement Taping (Rocktape) and is a certified Functional Aging Specialist.

Christy Gibner, MPT

Christy graduated from Lakehead University with an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology and a minor in Gerontology. She also graduated from Queen’s University with a Masters of Physical Therapy in 2006. Since then she has worked in private clinics for 5 yrs., retirement homes & long term care for 5 years. Sbe has been the Physiotherapist at Colhoun Family Chiropractic for 1 year. She has completed a large variety of courses over her career and has diplomas in acupuncture, lymphatic drainage and soft tissue release. This provides her with a variety of options for treating various pain, mal-alignment & swelling issues.

Kara Colhoun

Kara is attending Western University in her first year of Biology. She is also playing Varsity Rugby.
